I live 2 blocks away and this establishment is an absolute gem. So sad to see it go. This is the closest thing I have found in LA to authentic South Philly style pizza. You will be missed

4++ really great pizza spot in the Cypress Park that feels like it's a small cluster of other eateries and retail in the area. The menu is not huge and it consists of some of the classics along with some fun, more creative combinations. I stopped by on the way home from work one night so I just wanted to try a couple of slices and wanted to try the BBQ pork arancini. The arancini was great, but I enjoyed the slices even more. I ordered the mortadella slice and sausage & mushroom slice. Both very, very delicious and I enjoyed them a lot. You definitely get a nice slice of mortadella on top of the slice, haha. The space itself is not that large either and you basically come in and order from the person at the counter and once you get your food, there's a counter with a large window opening that separates this place from the sidewalk. There are also some tables on the sidewalk you can sit at to enjoy your food. Because there is so much space outside, this place is dog friendly. I think they have treats at the counter if I recall correctly.

Got the large cheese and the gluten free meat lovers for delivery. The cheese was great. The gluten free crust was the closest thing I've ever tasted to the real thing. The meal lover was fine, but a bit bland with spots of spice. Definitely going to keep this on our delivery roster for pizza nights.

I ordered a whole cheese pizza for takeout, and it was a delightful experience. The pizza itself was incredibly light, which made it easy to enjoy without feeling overly full. The crust had the perfect balance of crispiness and softness, with a slight char that added a smoky flavor. The sauce was the highlight--fresh, tangy, and flavorful, it complemented the cheese beautifully without overpowering it. It's clear they use high-quality ingredients, and the simplicity of the pizza allowed the flavors to really shine. The takeout process was smooth, and the pizza was still fresh and warm when I got home. This is definitely one of the best cheese pizzas I've had in a long time.

This place is a sleeper! My first time in the Cypress Park area of LA. And if this were located in a busier part of LA, I'd know it would pop off. Looks like the chef is Japanese here. And we know how the Japanese have been killing it with pizza. And this spot is no different. I ordered two slices. I got a cheese slice and I got the mortadella slice. The crust here is magnificent. I wasn't planning on eating too much since I was on a pizza tour in LA. But i couldn't stop eating it. The mortadella slice has a slice of meat on top of the entire pizza slice. This was more of a white pizza. Also just as good and a must order. The vibe is really clean and has seating along the sidewalk. So happy I made the trek here. Recommendation: Mortadella slice and cheese slice

Wow, the pizza here is so good! I love that they sell by the slice, since I am a sucker for all of the flavors that they have here. I love the combination of asian and italian flavors, something I have grown to truly appreciate. I recommend getting their pear salad, so strange but oh so so good and refreshing with the salitness from the pizza!

If you have difficulty committing to just one pizza, this is the place to try different pizzas by the slice. They also have some inventive slices that incorporate Asian flavors. Mortadella: They place a whole slice of mortadella on the pizza slice. The thinly sliced mortadella is garlicky with flecks of pistachio. (Now, I'm tired of saying the word "slice.") The alfredo sauce is really smooth and creamy. The thin crust is super crispy and really delicate. Pizza of the month: Teriyaki Glazed Pork: The slices of teriyaki glazed pork are excellent - full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The grilled cabbage was great, but I wish there was more of it. The onions and sesame seeds a little crunch. The Fresno chili powder is subtle. Meat: This is a triple-meat slice with pepperoni and speck providing heavy savory notes. The charred, sweet Chinese sausage almost balances the saltiness. The sweetness of the marinara and the faint spiciness of the sambal are nice together. Ordering: Order at the register. They'll let you when the food is ready. Dining Area: There is a counter by the open window. There are also a couple tables along the sidewalk. It's cool that they have chopsticks by the forks and napkins. Parking: There's street parking.

Different twist on an Italian bite. This has very limited seating and an area for standing. Menu is straight forward. I ordered an a slice and arancini. Just a heads up there is still a bit of a wait for a slice of pizza. Spinach Artichoke slice- 10/10 Tasted just like a spinach artichoke dip just on a pizza. Crust was cooked perfectly and did not flop. *Highly Recommend* BBQ Pork Arancini- 7/10 Definitely different but I would still prefer a regular Arancini.

Quick service very friendly & great slice's But we enjoy sitting outdoor's having lunch with our Son & his parter The pepperoni was thin and not salty with delicious flavor. Thin crust was excellent too!! The veggie was fresh and I like a bit of crush chili pepper on my and our too It's pet friendly too. So our little girls enjoyed the adventure to LA. But I need to say The salad's here fresh I had the Asian Pear Salad Omg! It has big chunks of fresh hot house cucumbers And Asian pears green onion & black sesame seeds, and ginger sauce I enjoy it. But snap pea salad was really good too With pickled onions toga rashi peanuts, mint, snap peas. Napa cabbage. With great dressing It's in a cool neighborhood too it's our son's favorite spot. Gee we more pizza

I almost don't want to write this review so that I can keep Shins to myself!! If you like thin crust, single slice pizzas, then this is your place! Its truly a slice of New York in LA. Place your order and either stand or take a seat outside and enjoy your slice. The crust is amazingly crunchy -- one bite had me fall in love with the chew and the taste of the dough itself. I have never cared much about the crust, but Shins changed my opinion about how one should be. My go to is the Sausage and Mushroom slice which has the perfect amount of sausage and ample mushrooms. I also enjoyed the scallions which provides freshness to the slice. My last visit, I also tried the monthly slice -- Spring Pizza with asparagus, Japanese sweet potatoes, pesto, bacon, and sunchokes. Crust still had the great bite and held up all the toppings. I also enjoyed how it was a white slice and provided a different taste and texture. Parking can usually be found on adjacent streets.
